Experience Cam

Description

Experience Cam is a showcase of how computer vision can be used to gather experience data at an event. Its an interactive way for people to share feedback using their hands by rating the experience between 1 and 5. The video shows an example of how it works. An OpenCV application (on the right) recognises the number of fingers in the view. When there is a sudden change from a fist position to a position with fingers present, the data is recorded and sent to a Qualtrics instance. The dashboard on the left refreshes every minute, so the user is able to see their rating on the dashboard in real time. We can confirm that the feedback was successfully registered on Qualtrics by looking at the number of responses for 'Amazing'- which changed from 111 to 112.
