Experience Cam showcases how computer vision can gather experience data at an event in a frictionless, interactive way. Attendees simply hold up fingers to rate their experience from 1 to 5 — no tapping, no forms.
An OpenCV application recognises the number of fingers in the camera view. When a sudden change from a fist to fingers is detected, the rating is captured and sent directly to a Qualtrics instance. The live dashboard refreshes every minute, so attendees can see their rating appear in real time. A change from 111 to 112 responses for “Amazing” in the demo confirmed the data flowing through successfully.
