UKISUG Connect 2019
SAP's Innovation Labs showcase at the UK & Ireland SAP User Group annual conference, featuring live emotion recognition, a Qualtrics charity cycling challenge, and real-time analytics.
UKISUG Connect is the annual conference for all SAP users and partners, hosting over 1000 attendees in 2019. The Innovation Labs team was asked to conceptualise, create, and host a showcase — Experience World — exhibiting SAP’s experience-forward strategy following the acquisition of Qualtrics.
In the month leading up to UKISUG, I helped plan and build content for our showcase, which included:
- A live emotion recognition feed where attendees could see a system analyse their facial expressions in real time.
- UKISUG’s Charity Challenge — where attendees could cycle to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Attendees could see and cycle alongside other real people using the Zwift platform, with cycling data from the Strava API visualised on an SAP Analytics Cloud dashboard in real time.
The event was a huge success and received excellent feedback from attendees and organisers alike.
